Old Road Meadow |
Old Road Meadow Project is the development of the area formally known as the Old Allotments, which is located at the end of Hoo Road on the right hand side just past the cottages. |
Recreation Area |
The recreation area behind the Village Hall extends beyond the current football area bounded by the footpath and is earmarked for conversion from agriculture into recreational facilities. |
Village Plan |
A Village Plan is a document prepared by residents of the Village which sets out what they would like to see in the future for their Village. This will encompass all aspects of village life for example Village Hall, Transport, Health, Education, Water Supply, Planning etc. Currently a working party is being formed to issue a questionnaire to all households in the village, collate the results and prepare the plan. The final plan will be sent to Mid Beds District Council, Beds County Council and any developers who propose planning applications in the village. This is not intended to be a Parish Council document, but a document about the village by villagers. If you wish to help with this project please initially contact the Chairman of the Parish Council who can put you in touch with the leader of the working party. |
